What You Need to Know
Grey Hair
Understand Grey Hair and How to Keep It Bright and Healthy
As hair turns grey or white, it often becomes more porous, dry, and prone to yellow or brassy tones—especially from pollution, sun exposure, or styling products. But with the right care and a toning routine that uses gentle, natural ingredients, you can keep your grey hair vibrant, soft, and beautifully silver.

INGREDIENTS
Aqua-water, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium n-lauroylsarcosinate, coco glucoside, stearalkonium chloride, glycol distearate, glycerin, lactic acid, indigofera tinctoria leaf powder, benzyl alcohol, zinc oxide, aloe vera, niacinamide, panthenol, propylene glycol, salvia officinalis extract, rosmarinus officinalis extract, citrus limonum essential oil, biotin, caffeine, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, camphor, pinus sylvestris essential oil, eucalyptol, limonene, linalool, citral, linalyl acetate, coumarin, eugenol, basic blue 99, basic yellow 57, basic red 76.
DIRECTIONS OF USE
Apply a small amount of shampoo to wet scalp and hair. Gently massage into the scalp for 2–3 minutes to allow active ingredients to act. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use 2–3 times per week or as advised by your dermatologist. Avoid contact with eyes.
Note: If your scalp is very dry or dehydrated, the cleansing process may initially cause more flaking or tightness. This is temporary and often a sign of deeper exfoliation. To restore balance, consider using a hydrating conditioner or scalp serum after washing.
PRECAUTIONS
- For external use only
- In case of excessive dryness, use alongside a moisturizing serum or conditioner
- Discontinue if irritation occurs

There is a fresh, herbal fragrance, reminiscent of essential oils, though some might find it a bit medicinal. Despite its premium claims, it doesn’t focus heavily on colour transformation but rather on overall hair health, helping to soften and tame grey hair, which can often become coarse and dry. It’s a pleasant addition for those looking to reduce frizz and dryness without a heavy or greasy residue.
The bottle, though stylish, holds only 200ml and feels on the small side for regular use, especially given that the instructions recommend shampooing twice per wash.
Overall, Puradoro shampoo can be an effective option for anyone looking to elevate their hair care routine with a high-quality, luxury product, though the price tag might make it more of a splurge than an essential.

First and foremost, I love the herbal essence and essential oil infusion. The scent is fresh and invigorating, making my shower feel like a mini spa experience. The blend of biotin and caffeine is a great touch, and I feel like it gives my hair a boost right from the start.
After using this shampoo for a few weeks, I’ve noticed a significant difference in how my hair looks and feels. It not only helps tone down the brassiness in my blonde highlights but also seems to enhance the overall color and vibrancy of my hair. The indigofera component is a game-changer, especially for blending the greys more naturally.
What I appreciate most is how gentle the formula is on my scalp and hair. Unlike some other shampoos that can strip away moisture, this one leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable. I also love that it’s suitable for both men and women, making it a versatile option for couples or families.
I’ve received compliments on my hair since I started using this shampoo, and I think it’s due to the healthy shine and color it provides. Plus, knowing that it’s infused with beneficial ingredients gives me peace of mind that I’m treating my hair right.
Overall, I highly recommend the Puradoro Grey Hair Control & Healthy Roots Shampoo to anyone looking to embrace their natural hair while maintaining vibrancy and health. It’s a solid product that delivers on its promises, and I’m excited to see how it continues to improve my hair!

Been using it for over a week (possibly two weeks now) and I’m noticing a slight change to my grey bits.
Packaging is nice and the brand sounds great.

It doesn't stain so no worries and once lather is created, it changes the colour to the usual white foam.
I applied it twice, as advised.
It gives slightly different shade than the purple shampoos, more like adds a bit of light ash colour?
Doesn't have any strong smell like most of the shampoos, either.
Pricey, but I like it.

So it’s up to you if you prefer the cleaner ingredients,
and okay to use this over time and over other options.
Rekze, if this is their UK play, seem to have good products.
Just need to get their UK site (doesn’t load for me) and other channels sorted when someone’s searching outside Amazon to learn more about the (new in the UK?) brand.
Price was £19.71 at order time. Like their other offerings.
The bottle itself is plastic and it took a little while to figure out that you need to press half of the lid and the other half will pop up to use.
The shampoo itself is black and not too thick: it is easy to apply and gives a good lather.
It left my hair lovely and soft but if you want to cover any grey hair you may need to use it for some time.
Priced at £21.90 at time of review I am happy to recommend if you want a premium product but I have dropped one star because I do feel that it is a little pricey.

I was intrigued when I saw this shampoo which is specially formulated for grey hair. I didn't know the Puradoro brand, but saw it is made in Italy, so decided to give it a go.
When I opened it up, with my hair all wet, I was a bit horrified to see that it is an inky black colour, and was a bit nervous about putting it on my hair, if I am honest. The shampoo also is quite thin, so I wondered whether it would lather up.
I proceeded, and was pleased that it did lather quite well, although the grey foam it produced at first was a bit disconcerting!! It smells nice and fresh, and you can certainly smell the essential oils in it.
Once I had rinsed it off, I washed it again with just a small amount of the shampoo and it lathered very well and the foam was not so grey. I left it on for a couple of minutes then washed it off well, and used the matching conditioner.
I styled it in the usual way, and was very pleased that my hair was extremely soft, but still had body and wasn't at all flyaway. I normally wash my hair twice a week, so will definitely continue using this shampoo. Over time it is supposed to darken grey hair, and I suppose that this is because it has indigofera in it, which also explains the black colour of the shampoo. I have only used it twice, so obviously it is too early to tell, but the fact that my grey hair is now definitely more controllable is good enough for me.

It comes in a cardboard box. It's not wrapped in plastic. Which is nice.
The plastic bottle does require you to press down on half of the top in order to make the other half allow you to get the product out of it. Push again when done to close it up. Did take me a moment to figure this out. It's quite a nifty system when you get used to it.
It's cruelty free. Silicon free. And three other things free. Can't say what because the print for this on the bottom of the bottle is so small I couldn't see, even with a magnifying glass.
The shampoo is black and thin liquid. It does go on well though and give more of a lather than I expected. It was a good clean.
It is rather expensive. Sometimes I drop a star for things that are so much you wonder if they're worth it. But the quality of this one and the amount you get means I am inclined to stick with a four. If you want to control the grey - although long term use will be required - and you don't mind paying premium, it's worth a go.
